Mark Condon is the managing director of PSA in Australia. From 1995, Mark has been involved in providing consulting services and managing consulting businesses in security, crisis management, risk management, and business intelligence. These services have been provided to governments, public utilities, the financial sector, extractives, property and construction, engineering, industrials, FMCG companies, the telecommunications sector, outsourcing, professional business services, and major international events.
After a successful career with Wormald International designing and engineering security systems for government, financial institutions and corporations, Mark moved to the Racal Chubb organisation to lead a start up business in large scale integrated security systems in Australia. He then went on to successfully run the Electronic Security Division for Racal Chubb in Australia. This included all electronic security based systems and services including a nationwide network of 24/7 operation centres, remote security surveillance and response, security systems design and engineering, contracting and service. In 1991, Mark joined James Hardie Industries Limited as the Divisional General Manager of the Electronic Systems Division an d was responsible for building its security businesses primarily through a merger and acquisition program.
Although PSA was established in Australia in 2010, Mark has actively partnered with PSA since 2003 through the company Business Strategy Group, which he established in 2002.
From 1995, Mark joined Control Risks where he became the Regional Director for Control Risk’s Asia Pacific business but was also active in consulting. During this time there were a range of significant and substantial crises that occurred within the region involving political instability, civil disturbance, terrorism, and extortion. It was also a period of rapid growth in providing a range of services to clients operating in both developed and developing countries.
Throughout Mark’s operational and executive experience he has worked extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, United Kingdom and North America.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering. Mark also holds formal qualifications in security risk management acknowledged by the government of NSW, Australia.
