OTS-RSO-Accreditation No. 002-2009

PSA has been granted Recognized Security Organization (RSO) status by the Office for Transportation Security, the designated Philippines authority and administration on the implementation of the International Shipping and Port Security (ISPS) Code. As such, PSA is duly recognized for having the appropriate expertise on security matters and adequate knowledge of port operations, and is thus authorized to carry out assessment, audit, and verification activities, as well as the formulation of port facility security plans.


PSA has been recognized and operates under the provisions of Chapter XI-2 and parts A & B of the International Code for the Security of Ships and of Port Facilities (ISPS Code)

  1. Authorized only to conduct Port Facility Security Assessment (PFSA) and develop Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP).
  2. Will furnish to OTS list of companies contracted for the conduct of PFSA and development of PFSP on a quarterly Basis.
